Kimi is going to Sauber for 2019 and LeClerc is in at Ferrari. Now what handsome devil could’ve possibly called this? Oh yeah, me. And everyone said there was no way Kimi would do it but once again I prove myself to be the voice of reason when it comes to the F1 silly season!

My next take is a bit spicy!

I predict that Kvyat’s return will only happen if Hartley goes. Because I bet money that Honda has their eyes on a seat at TR. They had that clause before when they had their own team (remember Takuma Sato?) and with 4 cars running Honda engines, I would be more surprised if Honda *didn’t* push for a Super Formula driver to be in that seat. Even if they’re a bit older or lacking.

I’ll keep posting the truth and you’ll like it!

Ocon will only have a seat if Perez goes to Haas! Williams will take Russel and Sirotkin. Ocon/Stroll at Force India is possible but Perez needs to bump Grosjean out of a driver seat.

Hulkenberg is okay, but the minute that Renault find success with their program, his ass is grass.

YOU CAN’T STOP THE TRUTH JUST LIKE HOW MARKELOV CAN’T STOP SIROTKINS CAREER! WILLIAMS MAY BE TAKING P AY DRIVERS BUT MERCEDES WILL CUT THEM OFF FROM THAT HABIT AND FORCE THEM TO EITHER TAKE A YOUNG DRIVER OR OCON. AND WHY GAMBLE ON MARKELOV WHEN SIROTKIN IS ALREADY IN THERE AND ACTUALLY  ISNT TERRIBLE, OKAY?

I think all his whining about the brakes could catch up to him. He can be fast, yes, but he’s also older and can be difficult to work with. Plus he seems prone to stupid mistakes. The team seems to enjoy magnussens attitude more. And they probably want a North American driver sooner rather than later.

Damn, all good points except he has been fine with the brakes this year!  Can’t wait to see who fills those TR seats, that has been the most exciting for me to watch.

Naoki Yamamoto,  maybe? He and Gasly were teammates last year and he’s doing well this year.

Could be, but he might not have a super license in time. He’s also older and I doubt people want to take a chance on him at this stage. I think if Honda took a snipe at Yuji Kunimoto, they could get him. He is a toyota man through and through but maybe for national pride, and because toyota backed out a few years ago, they might let him. He actually won the super formula series back in 2016 so I think he has the points needed to get a super license. He’s still active in super formula and also does Super GT. But he’s still in his 20s. Aside from the toyota affiliation, I’d bet table minimum that he is in the running for a seat. But still unlikely though...

Good point, I don’t know how many SL points Naoki currently has. All I could find was that he had 35 in 2015, and he’s also doing both GT500 and Super Formula. But yeah, he’s a year older than Hartley so that would likely work against him. Kunimoto is only 2 years younger than Naoki, though, so who knows. I do think there will be one Japanese driver at TR in a couple years, at least.
